Realme has unveiled the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro Plus, its latest phones from what it calls the Number series.
Realme 9 Pro Plus comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner that can also measure your heart rate.
The device works by Dimensity 920 and supports fifth generation networks. It is paired with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
The phone features a triple camera with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. It is the same sensor found in some of the flagship smartphones such as the company’s Oppo Find X3 Pro and the company’s Realme GT 2 Pro.
There is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro unit. The selfie camera has a 16-megapixel sensor.
The Realme 9 Pro Plus comes in three colors: Sunrise Blue, Aurora Green, or Midnight Black. But the most interesting color is Sunrise Blue.
This color comes with a photochromic coating that changes from blue to rose-red within seconds when exposed to sunlight or UV rays. The switch takes 3 seconds and fades back to blue in about 5 minutes.
The 4500 mAh battery supports 60 W SuperDart charging. Realme 9 Pro Plus arrives with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0 user interface.
Prices start at $335 for the 6/128 GB version, and go up to $360 for the 8/128 GB version. While the price of the most expensive 8/256 GB version is $385.
The first sale was scheduled for February 21. The phone is also available through the realme website and some physical stores.
Realme unveils its latest phones
