And the new leaks published by the site show that some components of the expected phone will remain unchanged, such as the current version of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which began its launch in 2022, while Apple will update other components.
And the site quoted one of the leakers familiar with the matter, the specifications of the basic camera, screen, processor, and random memory.
The report indicates that the phone will carry a 48-megapixel primary camera with an IMX803 sensor from Sony, the same sensor currently used, which contradicts other previous reports that indicated that Apple will use the latest IMX903 sensor, as it produces the same image resolution, but it is larger in size, to allow capturing as many as greater than light.
The screen will also remain the same, as Apple will rely on the same M12 OLED panels, with slight changes in dimensions, with the possibility of making the bezels thinner than they are now.
The report confirms the arrival of the A17 processor in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, as it will be manufactured with a 3-nanometer process technology, with an increase in the amount of random memory to 8 GB of LPDDR5 type, instead of 6 GB. It is expected that these changes will also come with the release of the iPhone 15 Pro.
And previous reports had indicated that Apple had changed the name of the phone to “iPhone 15 Ultra” instead of “iPhone 15 Pro Max”, to shorten the name, a name that Apple has already followed with the higher-end version of its smart watch. Apple has not made a final decision on naming the phone, and the name may remain the same in the end without change.
And the famous analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, who specializes in Apple affairs, had previously reported that the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is the only version of the iPhone 15 series that will carry a periscope-type magnifying camera in order to improve the phone’s capabilities in optical zoom work, as it will become Through it, images can be optically enlarged without distortion up to 6 times.
On the other hand, Apple may maintain the same external design in general in the iPhone 15 phones , with improvements such as placing a frame made of titanium metal in the Pro versions.
Various sources confirm that Apple will abandon the traditional Lightning charging and data transfer port, in order to add a USB C port for the first time in iPhone phones.
