Lenovo has announced a wide range of ThinkPads, including the new ThinkPad X13s Gen 1, the new ThinkPad X1 Extreme, ThinkPad T14, ThinkPad T14s, and even some new P-series laptops, and there’s also a pair of ThinkBooks.

The new ThinkPad X13s is the first ThinkPad to use a Snapdragon processor. It is the first computer to use the new Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 from Qualcomm.

This means you get a long battery life, which is up to 28 hours according to Lenovo.

Qualcomm touts AI improvements as well, including autofocus, auto white balance, and auto exposure in video calls.

It also comes with optional 5G connectivity, and is one of the few laptops that support mmWave technology as well as sub 6 Ghz.

The company said it was waiting until the right time to do so. And while the company was quick to adopt Windows with ARM processors and was compatible with every generation, putting the Snapdragon processor into the ThinkPad wasn’t so quick.

But performance has come a long way with the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3, and there aren’t many compatibility issues now that 64-bit apps can be emulated on ARM with Windows 11.

As for the rest of the laptop, it has a 13.3-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10. It is also equipped with a 5MP webcam.

This comes with AI-based auto framing and intelligent noise masking, features that Qualcomm demonstrated at the Snapdragon Summit in December.

Various parts of the chassis also contain recycled materials, including the top and bottom covers, which are 90 percent recycled magnesium.

The ThinkPad X13s should arrive in May, with a starting price of $1,099.

The company also updated the ThinkPad X1 Extreme workstation, incorporating 12th-generation Intel Core i9 H-series processors with support for the Intel vPro platform. It also has a 165Hz display option and 16:10 aspect ratio for the first time (there’s 4K resolution too).

The T and P series are equipped with 16:10 aspect ratio screens and FHD cameras across the board. There are new Intel processors. The T series is also available with AMD’s Ryzen Pro 6000 chipset. Both lines have 14- and 16-inch models.

The ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 comes in June with a starting price of $2,049. The Intel-powered ThinkPad T14, T14s, and T16 are coming in April, June and April. They start at $1,399, $1,529 and $1,419.

While AMD-powered models come in June and May, and start at $1,299, $1,399, and $1,299. While the ThinkPad P14s and P16s come in April, both start at $1,419.
